浜口陽三、ブルーノ・マトン展（ミュゼ浜口陽三・ヤマサコレクション）　Yozo Hamaguchi・Bruno Mathon Joint Exhibition (Musee Hamaguchi Yozo : Yamasa Collection)

 

浜口陽三のことは、以前から知っていたが、ブルーノ・マトンという人物のことは、この展覧会で初めて知った。

マトンは1938年生まれのフランスの画家で、絵の他にも短編映画や短編小説、美術評論なども手がけた多彩な人物だった。

日本の文化にも深い造詣を持っていて、1990年以降はたびたび来日していたという。

マトンは、浜口陽三の銅版画を高く評価して、第19回サルセル国際版画ビエンナーレにおいて、浜口の作品と業績を紹介した。

I've known Yozo Hamaguchi for a long time, but I've never heard of Bruno Mutton at this exhibition.

Mutton was a French painter born in 1938, and he was a versatile person who worked on short films, short stories, and art criticism in addition to painting.

He has a deep knowledge of Japanese culture and has been to Japan frequently since 1990.

Mutton praised Yozo Hamaguchi's copperplate prints and introduced Hamaguchi's works and achievements at the 19th Sarcelles International Print Biennale.




1階の展示スペースには浜口陽三の作品が、地下にはブルーノ・マトンの作品が展示されていた。

マトンの作品は、シンプルな趣の作品が多かった。風景、人物、動物などテーマは多彩だが、その構図にはマトン独自のユニークな視点が感じられた。

Yozo Hamaguchi's work was exhibited in the exhibition space on the first floor, and Bruno Mutton's work was exhibited in the basement.

Most of Mutton's works were simple. His landscapes, people, animals, and other themes are diverse, but the composition has a unique perspective unique to Mutton.




最後の展示スペースには、マトンの作品と、そのシンプルなエッチング作品からインスピレーションを受けたという、谷川俊太郎と大岡亜紀の詩が並べて展示されていた。

In the final exhibition space, the poems of Shuntaro Tanikawa and Aki Ooka, who were inspired by Mutton's work and its simple etching work, were displayed side by side.

塩見允枝子＋フルクサス（ときの忘れもの）　Shiomi Mieko + FLUXUS (TOKI-NO-WASUREMONO)

  フルクサスのメンバーとして活動していた塩見允枝子と、フルクサスの他のメンバーとの作品が展示されていた。 日本からフルクサスから参加した人物といえば、オノ・ヨーコの知名度が圧倒的だ。 塩見允枝子の作品をまとめて目にするのはこれが初めてだったが、オノ・ヨーコに引けを取らないユニークな作品が多く、見応えがあった。 世界全体をステージとして見立てて、各地のメッセージを送ってパフォーマンスをイベントを行ってもらい、その結果を共有するというアイデアは、いかにもフルクサスらしい。 また、壁にずらりと並べられていた、星座を観察するための窓、という作品もユニークだった。60年代の別なテーマの作品を、2019年にテーマを変えてリメイクした作品。いまだに創造の意欲は衰えていないようだ。 フルクサスの他のメンバーでは、ナムジュン・パイク、ジョナス・メカス、ジョン・ケージらの作品が展示されていた。 フルクサスを始めたマチューナスの、デザイナーとしての才能が遺憾無く発揮された、フルクサス新聞が展示されていて、そのユニークな構成にしばらく見入ってしまった。 Works by Mieko Shiomi, who was active as a member of Fluxus, and other members of Fluxus were on display. 古美術逍遙（泉屋博古館東京）　Stroll through the Art of East Asia (Sen-Oku Hakukokan Museum)

  泉屋博古館東京のリニューアルオープンを記念する展覧会の第3弾は、中国や日本の書画や工芸品を展示するという内容。 雪舟や伊藤若冲の絵画も見応えがあったが、やはり中国絵画のコーナーが圧倒的だった。 この美術館で過去に何度か目にしてきた、八大山人の安晩帖。いつも頁ごとの展示となってしまう作品だが、今回展示されていたのは、第6図の鱖魚だった。 石濤の黄山八勝図冊。それほど大きくないページの中に、実に細かい筆使いで青みがかった山水画が描かれている。 その幻想的な世界観にしばし見惚れてしまい、時間を忘れてしまった。 日本の絵画からは、周文の筆によると伝わる山水図。こちらも中国の絵画に負けずに、なんとも言えない幽玄の雰囲気を、驚異的な筆使いで表現していて、見応え十分。 最後の第4展示室には、文房具と煎茶の道具が飾られて、合わせてその隣に張瑞図や許友の絵も展示されて、中国の文人世界を感じられる、素晴らしい空間になっていた。 The third exhibition to commemorate the reopening of Sen-Oku Hakukokan Tokyo will feature Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, paintings, and handicrafts. 走湯山と伊豆修験（國學院大学博物館）　Shugendo in the Izu Peninsula (Kokugakuin University Museum)

  現在の熱海の地にある伊豆山神社は、かつては走湯権現、伊豆権現と呼ばれて、修験道が盛んな東国有数の霊場だった。 『続日本紀』では、修験道の開祖である役行者は伊豆の地に流されたとされている。 そのせいか、伊豆地には数多くの修験道者が修行に励んでおり、走湯権現はそうした人々の信仰を集めていたという。 この展覧会では、伊豆地における修験道の足跡を辿る貴重な資料が展示されていた。 修験道者たちは、伊豆半島を曼荼羅に見立ててその山野を巡っていたという。 不意に、川端康成が『伊豆の踊子』で描いた伊豆の旅芸人のことを思い出した。 この展覧会から、伊豆という地に古代から現代まで続く壮大な時間の流れを感じることができた。 Izusan Shrine, located in present-day Atami, was once known as Hashiyu Gongen or Izu Gongen, and was one of the most sacred sites in the eastern part of Japan where Shugendo was popular.
