超コレクション展 99のものがたり（大阪中之島美術館） Hello! Super Collection: 99 untold stories (Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osala)

   

2022年2月に、大阪の中之島に新たにオープンした大阪中之島美術館。閉幕間近の時期になってしまったが、ようやく訪れることができた。

外観は四角いキューブになっていて、周囲に多くのマンションや複合施設などが立ち並ぶ中之島でも、大きな存在感を誇っている。

オープニングは、6000点のコレクション作品の中から、400点を展示するコレクション展。自らSuper Collectionと臆面もなく名乗るあたり、その内容には自信を持っているのだろう。

The Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art was newly opened in Nakanoshima, Osaka in February 2022. It was almost the end of the season, but I was finally able to visit.

The exterior is a square cube, and it boasts a great presence even in Nakanoshima, where many condominiums and complex facilities are lined up around it.

The opening is a collection exhibition that exhibits 400 of the 6000 collection works. He is confident in the content of the Super Collection, as he calls himself the Super Collection.

展示は4階と5階の2つのフロアを使って行われ、作品の内容ごとにいくつかのセクションに分かれており、それぞれのセクションには撮影が可能な作品がいくつかあった。

佐伯祐三の作品は、この美術館のコレクションの元になっている山本發次郎コレクションの中心的な作品であるようで、多くの作品が展示されていた。

The exhibition was held on two floors, the 4th floor and the 5th floor, and was divided into several sections according to the content of the work, and each section had several works that could be photographed.

Yuzo Saeki's work seems to be the central work of the Shinjiro Yamamoto collection, which is the basis of this museum's collection, and many works were exhibited.

同じく、この美術館の基礎になったという寄贈作品の中から、マリー・ローランサンのプリンセス達。

このセクションには、他にもユトリロ、キスリング、ブラマンクなどの作品が展示されていた。いずれも、これまでにどこかの展覧会で目にした記憶のある作品だった。

Similarly, from the donated works that became the basis of this museum, Marie Laurencin's princesses.

Other works such as Utrilo, Kisling, and Bramanck were exhibited in this section. All of them were works that I remember seeing at some exhibitions.

大阪にゆかりのある近代絵画のセクションから、石崎光瑤の白孔雀。装飾的に描かれた、白い孔雀の羽がとても印象的だ。

このセクションでは、他にも村上華岳の雲上散華之図がとても幻想的で記憶に残った。

From the section of modern paintings related to Osaka, Koyo Ishizaki's white peacock. The decoratively drawn white peacock feathers are very impressive.

In this section, Kagaku Murakami's work was also very fantastic and memorable.

大阪にゆかりのある写真や版画作品のセクションから、花和銀吾の複雑なる想像。ダダやドイツの新興写真の影響を受けたと考えられている、写真を使ったコラージュ作品。

このセクションでは、他にも山沢栄子や瑛九の写真作品や、藤田藤四郎の版画作品なども展示されていた。

椎原治の写真作品で、亡命ユダヤ人達を撮影した作品がとても印象に残った。

A complex imagination of Hanawa Ginware from the section of photographs and prints related to Osaka. A collage work using photographs, which is thought to have been influenced by Dada and the emerging photographs from Germany.

In this section, other photographic works by Eiko Yamazawa and Ei-Q, and prints by Toshiro Fujita were also exhibited.

Osamu Shiihara's photographic work, which shot the asylum Jews, left a strong impression on me.

大阪にゆかりのある戦後美術のセクションから今井俊満のNew York。今井はアンフォルメルの画家として知られる。この美術館には120点もの本人からの寄贈作品があるという。

このセクションでは、今井俊満と並んで、同じくアンフォルメルの画家であり、具体を主導した吉原治良の作品が数多く展示されていた。

Toshimitsu Imai's New York from the postwar art section associated with Osaka. Imai is known as an Informal painter. It is said that there are 120 works donated by the museum.

In this section, along with Toshimitsu Imai, many works by Jiro Yoshihara, who was also an Informal painter and led the concrete work, were exhibited.

会場は5階に移り、次のコーナーは、Hello! Supper Starsと題して美術館を代表する作品が展示されていた。

ルネ・マルグリッドの他に、アメデオ・モディリアーニ、マックス・エルンスト、サルバドール・ダリ、アルベルト・ジャコメッティなどのスパー・スター達の作品が展示されていた。

The venue moved to the 5th floor, and in the next corner, works representing the museum were exhibited under the title of Hello! Supper Stars.

In addition to Rene Margrid, works by spar stars such as Amedeo Modigliani, Max Ernst, Salvador Dali, and Alberto Giacometti were on display.

同じコーナーの、より現代に近い作品から、モーリス・ルイスのオミクロン。

この作品の近くには、草間彌生、マーク・ロスコ、フランク・ステラ、ゲルハルト・リヒター、バスキア、杉本博司などの作品も展示されていた。

From a more modern piece in the same corner, Morris Louis's Omicron.

Works by Yayoi Kusama, Mark Rothko, Frank Stella, Gerhard Richter, Basquiat, Hiroshi Sugimoto, etc. were also exhibited near this work.

ポスターが多数展示されていたセクションから、ロートレックのムーラン・ルージュ。

他にも、ヴィヤール、ミュシャ、ウィーン分離派、ロシアン・アバンギャルド、カッサンドルなどのそれぞれの時代や地域を連想させるポスターが展示されていた。

ポスターではないが、ボナールが日本の屏風絵風に仕立てたリトグラフの作品が素晴らしかった。

From the section where many posters were exhibited, the Moulin Rouge of Lautrec.

In addition, posters reminiscent of each era and region such as Vijar, Mucha, Vienna Secession, Russian avant-garde, and Cassandre were exhibited.

It's not a poster, but the lithograph work that Bonnard tailored to the Japanese folding screen style was wonderful.

インテリアなどのデザイン作品のセクションから、コロマン・モーザーのテーブルとアームチェア。

他には、マッキントッシュ、ヘリット・リートフェルト、アドルフ・ロース、オットー・ヴァーグナー、マルセル・ブロイヤー、アルヴァ・アアルトなどの作品も展示されていた。

これだけのインテリアのコレクションがあるのは、この美術館の大きな特徴の一つと言えるだろう。

From the interior and other design work sections, Koloman Moser tables and armchairs.

Other works by Mackintosh, Gerrit Rietveld, Adolf Loos, Otto Wagner, Marcel Breuer and Alvar Aalto were also on display.

Having such a collection of interiors is one of the major features of this museum.

長い長い展覧会の最後には、倉俣史朗のミス・ブランチが展示されていた。透明なアクリルの中に、真っ赤なバラの造花が散りばめられている。

西洋絵画、日本画、写真、版画、そして様々なデザイン作品と、多彩なジャンルの作品を楽しむことができた。

振り返ってみると、彫刻作品があまり展示されていなかったので、もしコレクションに豊富にあるのであれば、どこかの機会にまとめて目にしてみたいと思った。

At the end of the long and long exhibition, Shiro Kuramata's Miss Branch was on display. Bright red roses are studded in transparent acrylic.

I enjoyed Western paintings, Japanese paintings, photographs, prints, and various design works, as well as works of various genres.

Looking back, there weren't many sculptures on display, so if it's abundant in the collection, I'd like to take a look at it somewhere.
