A collection of Chinese stone sculptures that was moved to the first floor and then collected by Kenshiro Yamaguchi. As soon as I entered the exhibition room, I was overwhelmed by the stone statues placed in the room. Most of them are from the Northern Wei, Northern Zhou, and Sui dynasties. Buddhism was introduced to China during the Northern Wei era. I feel that such stone statues show how people at that time accepted the new religion of Buddhism.
